At this moment I am working on an 1987 jeep cherokee Xj that needed a new muffler. I will be repair or replacing the drivers seat, the ignition key, the window handles and greasing the window guides as they are all sticky and hard to roll up or down.
The first job this month was my own s-10 pickup. Although I had invested several thousand into the mechanical aspects the appearance was not favorable. So I am going to make some changes to reflect that this vehicle is in great shape. I am starting with a new stars n stripes paint job beginning with the front end.
Next I have removed all the pin stripes, the seat and taken the upholstery off to replace it with my own design. I will also be repairing the padding and installing new carpeting, recovering the dash with real leather or vinyl and modifying or painting dash and door components. The next step is to paint the sides and tail gate.
